Semtech’s HID and System Management Division produces input devices and system management electronics for notebook, hand-held and vertical systems and information appliances. Input device products include pre-programmed ICs for keyboards and pointing devices, such as touch screens, force sticks and touch pads. System management products include ACPI-compliant embedded controllers with integrated keyboard encoder, SMBus ports for the connection of Smart Batteries or other SMBus devices as well as HID functionality.

ARCNET is a high speed token based network technology used to provide LAN communications between computers in both the industrial and commercial marketplaces. The ARCNET Trade Association (ATA) is a non-profit organization of ARCNET users and manufacturers formed for the purpose of promoting ARCNET and providing information and standards for users. ATA is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to develop American National Standards.

BITBUS
